Denis Brousseau completed the camera focus tests. There was indeed a problem with both cameras, which were out of focus by about 300 microns. The interface between the optical module and the CCD dewars will be sent to Université de Montréal to be "lapped".

SITELLE is still undergoing tests in the lab at ABB. Denis Brousseau is working on the camera optics, following hints of a possible defocus of the cameras which caused a position-dependent modulation efficiency far from the ZPD.

Modulation efficiency has just been measured in the near-UV with a laser diode and the SN1 filter and is excellent: 70% at 375 nm, which is the goal set by the science team at the very beginning of the project.

Transmisson curves of the 3 filters received from Custom Scientific are displayed below: excellent transmission at all wavelengths!
