How to get to the University campus:By metro:The easiest way to access the University campus is by using metro (Côte-des-Neiges station for the conference; Édouard-Montpetit station for the residences). The Montréal metro network is composed of 65 stations distributed on 4 lines. For a map of the network (click here). The Côte-des-Neiges station is located on the blue line. Click here for a detailed map of downtown Montréal. The regular cost is 3$ per passage but it is also possible to purchase at each metro station a Weekly CAM for $24.50, the one day pass (unlimited) for 10$, the 3 day pass (unlimited) for 18$, and the 10-trip ticket for $25.50. These can also be purchased at the airport near the 747 airport shuttle departure. Note that the Weekly CAM (which is accepted for the 747 airport shuttle) is valid from Monday through Sunday, so if you arrive on the weekend and wish to get the Weekly CAM, you will have to pay $10 to take the shuttle going downtown. By bus from the Méridien Versailles hotel:Even though you can take the metro from the Méridien Versailles hotel (Guy-Concordia station), an easier route is to take the number 165 bus on Chemin de la Côte-des-Neiges (north direction) and get off near the Université de Montréal campus (see map), and take a short walk up to the Pavillon 3200 Jean-Brillant. |
