Based on all accessible data for the whole sample of dwarf novae, we present an extensive study of photometric features which are possible to measure during their outburst and superoutbursts. For all of them we looked for possible correlations. We confirmed a few of the known relations, questioned the existence of others, found new ones, as well as failed to find another presumed relation. In particular, based on vast amount of up-to-date measurements, we were able to enhance the Stolz and Schoembs relation and make accurate estimates on the mass ratio and thus on masses of white dwarfs in such systems. We hope that results of this study will impact our knowledge on the physical phenomena which take place in dwarf novae and help to direct theoretical work to the areas where there is still a discrepancy between observations and theory.
