With the launch of JWST, one of the current major focus in exoplanet science is to understand what their atmosphere is made out of and how we can use such information to infer the formation conditions of individual exoplanets as well as the overall architecture of multi-planetary systems. I will discuss the theoretical aspects of the connection between exoplanetary atmosphere, formation, and architecture, highlighting some observational predictions.
