Where the meeting is and how to get to it

The conference will be held on the campus of the Université de Montréal in the B-2245 auditorium of the Pavillon 3200 Jean-Brillant located at the following address: 3200, rue Jean-Brillant.

The important locations on this map are:

     The «Station Côte-des-Neiges» metro station (blue symbol with arrow on the right of the map)
*(28) The Pavillon 3200 Jean-Brillant. The B-2245 auditorium is located on the second floor. The main entrance is located on Jean-Brillant.
*(24) The main parking lot. It can be accessed by the Chemin Queen-Mary entrance (near number 30 on the map) or by the Édouard-Montpetit boulevard entrance (near number 34 on the map). Parking is $15 per day on weekdays.
*(8) The on-campus University residences. Located near the Édouard-Montpetit metro station. From there, the Pavillon 3200 Jean-Brillant can be accessed directly through the campus, or by taking Édouard-Montpetit boulevard and Avenue Louis-Colin.

How to get to the University campus:

By metro:

The easiest way to access the University campus is by using metro (Côte-des-Neiges station for the conference; Édouard-Montpetit station for the residences).

The Montréal metro network is composed of 65 stations distributed on 4 lines. For a map of the network (click here). The Côte-des-Neiges station is located on the blue line.

The regular cost is 3.25$ per passage but it is also possible to purchase at each metro station a Weekly CAM for $25.50, the one day pass (unlimited) for 10$, the 3 day pass (unlimited) for 18$, and the 10-trip ticket for $26.50. These can also be purchased at the airport near the 747 airport shuttle departure.

Note that the Weekly CAM (which is accepted for the 747 airport shuttle) is valid from Monday through Sunday, so if you arrive on the weekend and wish to get the Weekly CAM, you will have to pay $10 to take the shuttle going downtown.
