Abstract

Observing Globular Star Clusters with JWST

JWST will have enormous capabilities when it comes to globular star cluster research. Its light gathering power coupled with its high sensitivity in the infrared provide the community with unparalleled opportunities. Among these capabilities will be novel ways to derive cluster ages, test theories on the origin of multiple stellar populations and to search for evidence of planets in these ancient systems.
