Abstract

Observations of circumstellar dust with JWST

I will discuss the potential science enabled by JWST in the detection of extrasolar circumstellar dust around stars of various ages. In particular, I will emphasize the impact on detections of warm dust due to collisional processes around young and intermediate age main sequence stars, as well as the insights that will be gained about the composition of such systems in comparison to our own Solar System.
