Several years after the observed hot white dwarf (WD) luminosity function (LF) was published, the problem of the plateau in the DA LF was solved (Torres et all 2014). The apparent cause of the plateau was a population of low mass WDs which had not been completely removed from the WD sample. In this work we present the observed hot all-WD LF, DA, and non-DA LFs calculated after excluding WDs with masses below 0.49 Mo, as well as the corrected DA to non-DA WD ratio.
