The population of white dwarf binaries with hot subdwarf companions

Combining most recent results from the ongoing MUCHFUSS project with the known sample of close sdB binaries, we identified a significant population of sdB+WD binaries and derived their parameters. SdB+WD systems constitute an important class of post-CE binaries, that underwent two phases of mass-transfer. I will discuss the formation and evolution of those systems, which might be the progenitors of objects as diverse as magnetic WDs, neutron stars, AM CVn binaries, RCrB stars or even supernovae type Ia.
