Magnetic atmosphere models of white dwarfs with heavy elements

We present selected results from our new magnetic white dwarf model atmosphere code. Our code now solves the polarized radiative transfer equations and includes line splitting of heavy elements (C, O, Ca, Mg and Na in particular) in the Paschen-Back regime for various magnetic field geometries. Application to magnetic Hot DQ and DZ will be discussed.
