Seyed-Yashar Hezavehe, from McGill University, and Alexandre Alarie, from Université Laval, both received a scholarship of the FRQ-NT international internships program.
With this scholarship, Seyed-Yashar Hezavehe will collaborate with the astrophysics group at CalTech (USA), to work on the use of gravitational lenses to understand the properties of dark matter.
Alexandre Alarie will travel to the Instituto de Astronomía of the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. This goal of this internship is to study supernova remnants in order to better understand the structure and evolution of massive stars.
The CRAQ congratulates Alexandre and Yashar for their scholarships.
